Substantia Nigra wrote:As for the two pirate arcs, they are superbly well covered already ... The thread is locked, coz I have not been actively bumping it recently, but the product / service is still available ... and still selling steadily. Obviously I am not without a degree of vested interest in this matter but the guide really is quite excellent, and the bookmark collection a joy to behold - even if you're a ceptor pilot. Substantia Nigra,
You can get the thread unlocked, just report it and ask for it to be unlocked. I did it to 'The Plan' thread a while back. If ISD/CCL doesn't do it, file a Support Ticket about it.

Thanks for the compliment.
With some help from other players, I've been in the process of updating and reformatting the Epic Arc Mission Reports to make sure they're current. So far Minmatar and Amarr are done and Gallente is almost completed. Next will be Caldari and then the Sisters Of Eve Epic Arc.
Besides making sure the mission stats are updated with current info such as NPC count, EWAR, damage type, etc, I'm also including Mission Objective along with Warnings, Notes, Tips and Blitz info as well.
The reformatting part is to make sure all the pages have the same lay-out, same Header info, etc. It's a lot of work which takes quite a bit of time. After these arc pages are completed, it won't take much time or effort in the future to keep these pages updated and current.
I wasn't planning on mentioning 'The Plan' since it's already well know. However I will say it's got quite a comprehensive list of Event Agents in it, along with guide links and info.
Hopefully this info will help. Good luck with your project.

Jowen Datloran definitely deserves recognition and credit for his contribution to the Eve Community. He was one of the first to actually document the Epic Arcs. Since then a lot of people have used his Lorebook for reference info when creating guides.

Whenever I run the Epic Arcs, I always check and update Eve Survival Mission Reports as needed. When I ran that mission back in Oct 2014, there was only 3 containers on warp in. After a successful hack another container would spawn which also needed to be hacked.
Total amount of containers needing to be hacked was 6.
Now I see people posting different amounts of containers spawning that need to be hacked. If that's the case then the mission is definitely bugged.

Sentenced 1989 wrote:Ask for mission objective and mission complete so you can turn in. I've done this mission on 3 toons and neither was able to complete. Used to be 4 cans, after hacking one can you would open 1 more, up to 3 more per originals, ending up with 16 cans. 16th can would drop objective, so far I've managed to open 6 of them 2 times and once 5 of them
Yeah, for a long time there was 4 cans present upon warping to the site which needed to be hacked. Total amount of cans needing to be hacked was 12.

1st Original can / hack = spawn can / hack = spawn can / hack = spawn can / loot = Document
2nd Original can / hack = spawn can / hack = spawn can / hack = spawn can / loot = Document
3rd Original can / hack = spawn can / hack = spawn can / hack = spawn can / loot = Document
4th Original can / hack = spawn can / hack = spawn can / hack = spawn can / loot = Obsidian Orb
When I did the arc in Oct of 2014, there were only 3 cans present upon warping to the site which needed to be hacked. The total amount of cans needing to be hacked was 6.

My question is how many cans are present now upon warping to the site ?

According to the Mosaic Patch Notes / Fixes / Missions & NPC's :
Quote:A completion issue with the Minmatar epic arc mission 'Heresiology' has been fixed.
Hopefully everything is now back to normal.

Barrogh Habalu wrote:I find it interesting how many guides and summaries ignore Sansha path in Amarr arc. Although there's little to say on missions themselves there, so that may be the reason. Eve Survival : Mission Reports has documented the Sansha path in the Amarr Epic Arc.
